Bill,

Actually, the shipping costs would not be a big issue, as I am working
with a musuem collecting older, tube-based equipment, and have not
found a 608B in good condition. Do you also have the manual? What else
is with it, especially anything original & in reasonably good shape?

I have a venerable (almost as old as me) HP signal generator.  For
those unfamiliar with this model it goes from 10 MHZ to 500 MHZ.  It
is in good physical and electrical condition.  The frequency dial
calibration is off but otherwise fine.  Shipping would cost more than
it is worth. 
If you are interested and can pickup near Philadelphia, drop me a
line. 
  If I get no interest in the whole unit, I'll consider parting it
out.
