That is my recollection. I have one of these - they often go for a song
because people do not really know what they are. I paid $20 at a UK flea
market in a situation where neither of us knew what it was.
Now a related question - does anyone know how to take the head apart?
Mine has a loose center pin on the N-type which makes it intermittent.
I have a work round which is to screw an adapter pair onto it to lock it
in place, but that is not completely reliable.
So I would like to know how to take the connector apart to the point
where I can fix the joint. I would also like to understand what risks
there are in doing so, because a partially working instrument is a whole
lot better than a broken instrument, and I imagine that the heads are
even more like hen's teeth than the HP ones.
