Harry,
Here's the pinout for the HP 478/8478 thermistorheads. I've used this for years to check heads at fleamarkets. You
should be able to find similar results with your new head if its good. Good find, by the way. I was looking for heads
at Dayton. Only found one... bad, with one of the thermistors reading about 4 ohms and the other an open... and there
was a $100 tag on it. What a dreamer !!
