[Test-Equipment] Reproduction Dials

My experience is similar Tom and Jeff. The only precaution is to not flood
the surface as I have seen some lettering float as a result. The Krylon
Crystal Clear is what I have used too. I know it comes in gloss and there is
also a Matte finish though it may be just labeled as "matte finish". I use
that when protecting the round drum dials as used on Collins A-line gear.

Jeff, I've had good luck with a few light coats of Krylon "Crystal
Clear" spray polyurethane. I think you can get various glosses,
depending on what you like.
I usually don't wait a long time between coats. They're not totally
dry, in other words, but not wet. I don't know if it makes a
difference. It just seemed like a good idea.
