[Test-Equipment] General Radio 1001-A S/G inductor problem

Thanks for the replies. Some light has been shed upon
the problem. It's the inductor ferrite cores that fell
out of the coils.

I suspect a lot of you started out this way...
Get a few receivers from memories past. Decide it's a
great activity. Think it would be neat to learn how to
repair what you have. Find out the next step is to get
some test gear then learn how to repair that too.
Where does it stop?
