This discussion renewed my interest in the noise source project that I
set aside years ago. I found a copy of a "Ham Radio" article on a 5722
noise diode source, and I believe I will add that to my notes and see if the
project is worth finishing. Ideally, it would be nice to locate an older
HP343A noise source, which is supposedly good up to 600MHz.
