[Test-Equipment] Waveguide question

John, Dave:
Thanks. My experience has taught me the small stuff, and I realized after this post that one thing is clear: I need to crack open the books (again). Case in point waveguide Zo. I actually am using the HP X281 A / B connectors exclusively. The X281B is perfect for transitioning from female "N" connectors on the instruments. I have been fortunate in that my hardware is good, but occasionally need a sounding board.
Regarding part numbers on eBay, foremost are specific measurements of the waveguide dimensions. I've actually caught a couple of errors on eBay items. Just asking for the inside aperture dimensions brings up the confidence level. Don't want to waste time on the great thing you won on eBay that won't quite work.
I wish to thank this great list and the responders to my query. Learning is always (well, to a greater extent) guaranteed.
Best regards to all,
-Scott
