[Test-Equipment] RE: HP 8640B variable audio oscillator thermistor

To All,

Thought I'd try a little experiment today. The results were good. I saved at
least postage from Mouser and or others.

Went to Radio Shack and purchased three 272-1154 miniature bulbs. Then
soldered these on the board in replacement of 5080-1718.  Just what the
doctor ordered, oscillator started up and looks clean on the o-scope. The
ratshack doesn't carry many parts today, glad I could spend a few bucks to
support the local economy.
