Yes, they should be compatible. There are four BNC connectors on the rear of the scope mainframe that correspond to various outputs of the 8558B. On the 180A they may be labeled only with their scope functions and not with their SA functions, but they will work nevertheless. Also, the small two-contact horizontal connector midway between the front and back of the plug-in connects to one of the sets of CRT deflection plates (either the vertical or the horizontal--it's been a while and I don't recall exactly). It is present on all of the scope and SA plug-ins that work with the 180 series mainframes.
