Bob,

I'll forward your message to the test-equipment list. Unfortunately, all of
the user and service manuals for the R2001 series of service monitors are
out of print and no longer available from Motorola Parts.

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Info/help for Moto R2001C service monitor

Hi

This isn't really repeater related, but it is in an indirect way. I
recently acquired a Moto R2001C service monitor. It appears that on
462.??? MHz, the unit is off by about 230 kHz (low). On 145.??? the
unit is about 70 kHz low so the problem is not linear.

Obviously, the unit needs calibrating. The RF Level dial/pot is
also a bit sticky/tricky to use. I've Google'd for user's guides
and also for service/repair manuals for the monitor with no avail.
Does anyone have a user guide I could buy and secondly, possibly a
service/calibration manual. The service manual and calibration
process may be beyond my abilities but I surely don't have the $$$
right now to send the unit off for proper servicing.

Any help and/or suggestions with this project would be greatly
appreciated. The user's guide would be of the greatest help.

73 and thanks
