Glad to hear it!  Some companies are sensitive to the needs of their 
customers (and perhaps future customers...)

Agilent (once HP) got away, for a while, from keeping an archive, and 
now they're trying to fix it, collecting old manuals for their obsolete 
equipment and putting them up as free PDFs.

People who find/buy old equipment and put it to serious work, just may 
become real customers when there's more money to invest in the work, or 
a new compelling feature becomes available.  Investing in the company's 
future...
