Mark is right. I think I have an extra 8601A for sale if you are interested.

There is a 0 to 2 (?) GHz solid state PI available for the 8690, but as I
remember it's for the 8410A ANA. The 8690 is a real pain to work on. IMO, if you
are determined to go in that direction, consider an 8620, Smaller, neater,
cleaner, and a solid state design. NO BWOs !!!  There is still quite a bit of
that stuff around for good prices too.
