[Test-Equipment] Old HP RF analyzers - are they worth it?

I don't own one of these but a friend did for a while,
he replaced the original mixer with a good quality
double balanced mixer and got a noticable improvment
in internally generated spurs, sounds like a
worthwhile mod.
