I don't think they will check 500mhz. You need a special spectrum analyzer 
for less than 1 Hz center frequency.
However, it should do well at 500 MHz.

Seriously I had a set some years ago but the BWO was bad and since then 
,due to a week long power outage, my basement flooded and it was partly 
submerged.  I did not know about the YIG  oscillator change. That sounds 
interesting.
