Seasons Greetings,
Is there anyone on the list that might have a HP 3456A digital meter that is being
parted out? I'm looking for a replacement relay (K103) on the A20 board. This relay
is the one in the big aluminum enclosure with 2 red leads coming out to two 27K
resistors. Mine has gone bad due a poor connection to the reed relay. There are
two 4-40 screws that hold it to the circuit board, and there are two connections
for the relay coil under the coil that can be un-soldered on the screw side of the board.
Is there a substitute for this relay? It is powered by +15 volts and is switched by a
transistor to provide the 0.1,1.0 and 10 volt DC ranges. The manual says it is a low
thermal relay and the packaging would suggest that it is something to be concerned
about.
If someone has one and would part with it for a reasonable charge, please let me know.
Thanks and have a Happy Holidays everyone
Jerry
