[Test-Equipment] O.T. lube job

Hi guys:

Sorry for a slightly off topic. I'm restoring an 
old military receiver pre-tuner. It has a pair of
multigang variable capacitors, geared to a position
encoder and tiny motor. The gear train is dry. I'd
like to clean it (alcohol) and then lubricate it
with some kind of "lifetime" lube. Any suggestions?
