Hi All,
Thanks for the different answers i got !
On the http://www.tek.com i couldn't find any 2710 relative infos. The closest is for the 2711/2712, which seems to be quite different.
So, any help is still welcome.
Concerning my problem :
First, it was not working when i bought it. I had to replace the 100 MHz Xtal in the reference oscillator.
But, sometimes when i switch the S.A on, i have plenty of "spikes" on the screen. They are unstable in frequency but equaly spaced.
The level does not change when i modifiy the REF LEVEL, nor does the spacing change when i change the FREQ SPAN or BW.
The only action that changes something is the spacing when i change the SWEEP speed.
When i disconnect the output from the REF board, the "spikes" disappear.
This problem does happen sometimes and does not disappear when i switch it ON/OFF. One hour later, it can work normaly. When it works, it's for all time the S.A is on. (don't say me to leave it ON ! :-)) )
Even with the problem, i can use the S.A. But frequency seems to be a bit unstable.
I suspect something in the PLL loop, if there is any... ?
Any help, advices ??
