[Test-Equipment] HP 5345A-A14 found / Praise to the list & to Dan Rae

Fellow listers,

Once again this list proofs a great resource!
Thanks to Dan Rae, AC6AO, who supplied me with the logic
card I needed to revive my 2nd HP 5345A counter.

Has anybody ever tried low-noise blowers in these beasts?
Having both units switched on sounds like a vacuum cleaner...
I guess I have to revert to temperature derived speed control
to be safe.
According to the manuals I have, there never was a cover on the
10544A box, but I would expect the added thermal isolation does
help stabilty?
In the end I will feed all counters from a GPS locked standard.
