Hi Chris,

many cheap PC digital 'scopes support X-Y mode of operation, or have an 
"event recorder" mode in which the inpus signal is sampled quite slowly 
(typically at 50sample/s max) and set to PC for storage, so that the record 
lenght is not a problem. In this case the output file is a .TXT and may be 
read (and plotted) with Excel.

One for all: Velleman PCS500 or PCS100. They are external scopes interfaced 
to the parallel port. Probably other brand do similar things.
