I have in my lab a cristal oscillator as a frequency  reference =
controlling the clock
of many devices ( frequency counters etc ).
Periodically I check the ovenized cristal oscillator comparing the =
frequency against
 a frequency standard broadcasted by DCF in Germany or MSF in U.K.
To reach a high precision in the comparison it is necessary to have a =
long time of=20
recording of the phase variations between the two frequencies ( hours ).
I use a phase comparator and a stip cart recorder.
Since  some time I am using a simple software tacken from an Italian =
magazine.
Anybody interested in the same operation ?
