[TenTec] OT: reconditioning or junking an Argo 509?

I am far from an expert, but I doubt Ten Tec repair can still work on the 
Argonaut 509.  If you have no local friends that can help, that one may just 
be parts.  The Omni V and Omni VI are two completely different rigs. 
Nothing in common that I know of.  What you may be thinking is that the Omni 
VI could at one time be made into an Omni VI+, however even that service is 
gone now, I'm afraid.  They may still work on the Omni V, but parts in some 
areas could be a problem.  I would email Ten Tec service for confirmation on 
all this, I'm just passing along "gut feelings" from monitoring Ten Tec 
lists for a long time.
