Sounds like Paul at Ten Tec, I have a RF ground system under my shack, It
was put there when I my house was built 3 years ago, As far as that goes I
run 1500 out with my MKV and my Pro no RF issues at all. All my antennas
are over a 100 feet away. Look someone must have a signed me up because of
my negative reveiw on one of the other sites I will try and get removed from
this board. Sorry for voicing my thoughts about the poor service "I"
received from Ten Tec. Their thoughts are always something is wrong in your
ground, power supply or something other than there product. And the other
two hams are WV4X and NA9F both had RF issuses and software problems. I dont
want to shake anyone up but that is the way it goes. I now will try and be
removed and let you guys go on your merry way, Sorry but thought if someone
pointed out a few short comings maybe the orion III maybe better, But if
everyone sits back and pats Ten Tec on the back why would they try to
improve their radio, Call Paul and ask him what he runs he don't even run
Ten Tec he runs Collins gear! That was told to me by him! That gave me a
great assurance. Thanks and have a great time, With the updates and more
updates to fix the new problems AND THEN ANOTHER UPDATE TO FIX THE PROBLEMS
THAT ONE CREATED. Like I have always said if Yaesu or Icom did this, very
one would be out for blood. No more Ten Tecs for Me. But lets be honest if
in your mind it is perfect than its your money. As I remember Drake guys and
Swan guys were alot like this groups mind set! Oh yea, some of you new guys
wont remember them, they went out of business.
                                                                          Again
I did not sign up for this group!!!
                                                                          It
was someones Idea of a joke!
                                                                           Perry
