A friend of mine, Ron Kennedy, WA8GFO, here in Lancaster rebuilt his Triton
VFO w/ TenTec's kit. he said it wasn't too bad. You may want to drop him a
line and ask your questions. I'm sure he will be happy to help. He may even
have the instructions from his repair kit. Tell him I gave his name to you.
