OK, Steve.  I never tried wider scan ranges because my interest is the 
low end of the CW bands.  Admittedly, it's a vast improvement, but 
N4PY's  software does a much better job of respving the signal peaks 
with as small as a 3 KHz sweep span.  Thanks for your input.
