You can change the resolution on the sweep in the menu settings.  I use
72HZ.  I think its the top selection under receiver. Thanks,  Steve  WB0UGO

Am I seeing things?  THe picture of the Orion in the June CQ ad shows a
high resolution spectral display (SWEEP).  (The screen also appears to
have a bluish background tint.)  When I use the Orion's SWEEP function,
I get a very broad, blocky and virtually useless representation of each
signal.  I always thought the problem was a hardware limitation in the
screen resolution, but maybe I'm doing something wrong.   Am I wrong or
is that photo the result of an overzealous ad agency retoucher?
