I have the INRAD mod on my MP as well. It does really help on the noise
floor. The MP is a very nice radio. The Orion just takes it to another
level on crowed band selectivity. The old 940SAT is still a very nice radio
as is the Corsair 2. My Heath SS9000 has as good of sensitivity as them all
and is also a very nice radio. I usually use this rig with the HL2200 on
the Heathkit net 20:30 GMT on Sundays. 73's Steve

The new Inrad first IF filter sure has helped my Mark V - seems like a new
rig. I'm waiting to see how the proposed Omni VI filter will be. Tom W6EIJ
