I think the reason that all the manufactures "keep messing with the control
commands" is the same reason that Bill Gates keeps messing with Windows.
The original commands they all used were quite limited in what they would
do.   The new commands on the Orion can control everything but your wife's
temper when you are trying to "work a new one" during the dinner hour!
