Don't know about the 6N2 but it sounds like tentec did the same
thing with the speaker that they did on the PEGASUS. What they
did is they made the audio output that feeds the speaker so that
you can not ground one of the lines that feeds the speaker.
If you really want to drive an enternal speaker, the workaround
is to go buy two small audio transformers from Radio0 Shack and
wire them the high impedance sides back to back then use this as a
isolation xformer to isolate the low impedance speaker leads
from ground. Works like a charm on the PEGASUS.
What it boils downto is nobody makes a 4 ohn to 4 ohm isolation Xformer.
So you do the next best thing and create one by wiring two Xformers back to
back to make one. For some reason tentec did not want to use a Xformer
to drive the speaker and if you try to ground one of the lines to the
internal speaker, you will blow the audio amp on the PEGASUS. I think
the 6N2 may be wired the same way.
