I have no problem on my OMNI-VI. Check the settings of the serial port
speed, done by menu on the radio, per the manual, match to the
program. Also check the wiring of the DB 25. Some programs may need
handshaking signals. The radio doesn't, but to be sure wire the DB 25 per
the manual and that will send handshaking signals back to the computer. I
have not used either of the programs you have used, but I know MixW
works. If the program you are using doesn't have Ten-Tec OMNI-VI as one of
the rigs, use the ICOM IC735. Not all Ten-Tec rigs use the same protocol.
