Thanks for your reply, but I think we are talking about different troubles:
1}mine jumps only when receiving, never when transmitting, 2}my tuning steps
are 10 cycles, and 13 times that would be 130 cycles. Mne jumps about 100
khz. 3} mine has only happened with my large hand on the remote knob. I have
never used the rig any other way....so I think it is a different breed of
