Joel Hallas has given good advice IMHO re power supplies. I would add that 
it is safer to use Ten-Tec power supplies with Ten-Tec equipment in all 
cases. Certainly, with regard to the Corsair, the # 960 supply is the only 
safe way to go.

Even with the OMNI V and OMNI VI's, however, there is a comfort level in 
using supplies specifically intended for these rigs. In these cases, # 961 
or # 962. There is so much sophisticated circuitry in these radios, and 
such relatively fragile devices such as pin diodes, that a 
belt-and-suspenders approach seems called for even if the chances of a PS 
malfunction are remote.
