 Basically what you need
is a 4 ohm to 4 ohm isolation transformer. Since nobody makes one you make your
own by connecting two small output transformers back to back (connect the hi
impendance winding of one transformer to the hi impendance of the other) and now
you have a 4 ohm to 4 ohm isolation transformer. Two little old Radio Shack output
transformers (the cheapest ones you can get) work fine. disconnect the internal
speaker from the PC board and connect one end of the 4 ohm to 4 ohm transformer
that you made to the PC board where the internal speaker was connected and the
other end to the spare RCA jack on the back of the Pegasus. Now just plug in the
external speaker to that spare RCA jack. NO HOLES TO DRILL, NO EQUI[MENT
TO DEFACE. With the 4 ohm to 4 ohm transformer that you made you have double
isolation.
