[TenTec] ORION FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I too was fortunate to see and touch the Orion at Charlotte.  I even came
back Sunday and took a closer look with much less crowd.  The rig looks
great as Jack says; as good as anything on the market in my opinion.  It has
dual vfo knobs on the face;  and the real time band scope looked so fast
that it didn't appear to be scanning at all. It is quite a large radio about
the size of a Kenwood ts940s.  The display is monochrome although Tentec
keeps saying that it may not look the same by the time its released next
fall.  I picked up the 2 page flyer and would be glad to email it to anyone
that would like to see it.  Unfortunately I havent seen a picture of it and
I dont have a digital camera.
