Jupiter has a band scope, but it is not "real-time". When you push the
SWEEP button Jupiter sweeps the selected range about the tuned frequency
and displays the activity pattern on the screen as a snapshot.  To
update the picture, you push SWEEP once to clear the display and again
to take a new shot.  A real-time band scope, while desirable, would have
substantially increased Jupiter's price.
