Since many of us are are mature hams we have declining sight problems.   I
did not realize that I was attending an English class on the reflector.

I agree that Ten Tec makes good gear.  I have owned a PM2 QRP rig and a
Triton IV (540) and currently own 3 Ten Tec tuners.  I am still amazed at
the corners they cut (same for any Ricebox too!) such as no
RF or DSP processor in the Jupiter, or no VOX (an afterthought in the PS) in
the 540, and the screen in the Orion.  Except for the screen, the write up
on the Orion in the latest Ten Tec Newsletter is excellent.

I have run my own business...I even tried to sell to the ham market for a
while.   I still advise two firms
and keep my hand in possible marketing efforts.   Ten Tec must sell in the
Marine, commercial, and DOD markets to make a living...only three or four
firms or dealers currently make a profit selling in the ham market!
