hope that TenTec passes along to us, whom are charged shipping, the actual
cost of the 'shipping'. INCLUDING DISCOUNTS/REBATES.

MANY COMPANIES MAKE HUGE PROFITS ON THE DISCOUNTS/REBATES PAID BACK TO THEM
FROM THE SHIPPERS FOR "VOLUME"...

Some 'smart' shipping guys figured how to show their clients that they
could make money on shipping stuff!!!. The shipper charges the end user
'actual shipping charges'...let's say 20$... then the SHIPPER gets a
'rebate' or 'discount' due something they'll call volume or something else
( which of course is not attributable to that particular shipment or
customer. - hence not due to the customer. And even the good shippers do
it , because their competition does it.
That always seemed to make things ok in the USA.
All those good mailorder and internet prices are supported by this hidden
profit center. I'll bet FedX has a great rebate program.
