Jim,

Listen to 146.94 Wednesday night at 8pm and they will
announcement specifics to get to the armory in
Weatherford.  I've been once and can get there by
sight only, not knowing street names.  They probably
would give you a second chance the same day.  But
that's usually the decision of the VEC at the test
site;everyone's a little different.  The test will be
on paper similar to the one last Saturday. 
Calculators are welcome;be prepared to clear memory
though.

Radio stores include Ham Radio Outlet, Amateur
Electronics Supply, Rad-comm.com in Lubbock.  There
are many others.  However, these will give you a good
starting point.  I bought my Icom 2100H from Rad-comm
at 160.00.  It's 2m single band but I like it.  Also,
you can try practice tests on QRZ.Com.  Slightly
different format, however, all the same questions.
