David,

    Just a few questions about the exam on Saturday.  Do you know the =
address of the place where the test will be given?  I know of one armory =
on Hwy. 180 west of the courthouse, is there another near the college?  =
Are calculators allowed in the test area?  If a student were to "bomb" =
on the first try, could he/she retake the test on the same day?  Will =
the test be on paper or a computer based program similar to the practice =
software you gave us?

    On another topic, and you may pass any of these questions to any =
other Tri-County member if you want to, do you know the web address for =
makers and/or distributors of ham radios?  The only actual radio I could =
find on the web is the one model Radio Shack has.  Due to prior bad =
experiences with the company, I would prefer to shop for this sort of =
product at other vendors.  At present, our budget is limited.  Any =
purchase of ham equipment would be after I am able to start bringing in =
some income from either a new job or from sales of my jewelry and =
crafts.
