I must admit, the birds failed to inform me of the law regarding their
native status, but that's oka...same outcome. Next time I'm up there,
I'll explain how CW is the universal language by which to communicate
with owners of large-ish antennas. :) :)
We routinely host a barn swallow family in the rearing of one or two
hatches (3 or 4 babies each) each year. They like to nest in our porch
over the entry way, and poop on the mailman.
So far, the scissortail birds show no effects from RF radiation, however
the hf antenna directly above them has been inactive due to my rig being
mounted mobile lately, and not only that the huge antenna probably acts
as a faraday cage...lol...
