Howard,

Thanks very much for your comments on our portable communications =
center. It's in our plan and thinking to do some refurbishing on it =
this year (new metal skin, new framework). =20

I passed the word you sent on to the Tri-County Amateur Radio Club; the =
other club member's will be as pleased as I am that our efforts to have =
a ready center proved to be helpful. That trailer is used for several =
events through the year each year, although this is the first "disaster =
recovery" scenario it has been used in.

Thank you for being there and helping your community and our state and =
nation in a time of need.

  Subject: WC5C

My name is Howard Hinton, My call is KI5KR. I have just spent the =
last 12 days working the Shuttle Recovery Net in Nacogdoches, TX. The =
WC5C trailer has been a life saver. We used the trailer to check in all =
of the out of town HAMs that came in. We also ran an availability net =
from the trailer. Most of the time we had 2 mobil rigs and 2 HTs on the =
air for at least 14-15 hrs a day. We placed a propane heater in the =
trailer and became a very popular place when the weather was really bad.

I am not an officer of the Nacogdoches Amateur Radio Club, but I just =
wanted to say THANKS!!! That little trailer and I became real close. I =
spent more time in the WC5C trailer than I did at home.

  THANKS

  Howard Hinton

I will send some pics when I get back to the laptop.
