Hello Club!

Well last night was interesting! CJ and I left a little later than everyone
else, it seems CJ was "talking" to the cashier about the amount of the
check, only problem was I was getting the first hits of hail on my truck.
You have to realize, my 89 looks like I got in a fight with a mad widow
woman, and lost! I was ready to leave! Still no CJ! It was about 5
minutes and she got in the truck, we drove down to 199, hit the light green!
I turned left and found a open spot at the first gas station with a cover
and parked there for about 20 minutes, truck still looked OK.

After the hail stopped, we left the gas station, turned East bound toward my
house, got 1/2 way to my house and hit nickel or slightly larger hail. I
turned around toward Springtown and reported the hail to Weatherford net
control. After I turned around the hail slowed down till it stopped about 2
miles from Springtown. We sat at the Sonic for about 5 minutes then left
for the house again. I saw small hail almost all the way home and it
continued to rain all the way. We sat in the truck for about five minutes
and the rain slowed to a heavy drizzle, got out and could see stars in the
sky!

I looked at CJ's car but did not see anything, then I looked today in the
sunlight, it got hit pretty good! I looked at the rest oh the vehicles here
and did not see much, got lucky I guess.

I did enjoy what little meeting we had though!!!

Paul

Did y'all stay and have a meeting, I heard Paul driving through the hail
trying to get home...

We spotted for Parker and Wise counties, managed to stay out of it all here
at
the home QTH through both storms. One went by on the south, one on the
north... Got a couple of pieces of golf ball size hail in the yard, that
was
it. Total rain .72 inch. You could sure hear it pounding the buildings
just
1/2 mile north though!

73,
Jerry
