I believe in "Now Your Talking" i saw a diagram which included a 13.8 volt
ground bus bar on the back edge of the ham's bench attached of course to the
power supply. If one was running a station from a battery the negative post
of the battery would be best grounded as well. All radios/powered equipent
as well as the shield of the coax, ie thru antenna switches were intimately
connected to this bus. This woudl in effect be the lightening protection
and noise filtering that we need. The positve side of the circuit out of the
suppy was run via individual wires to the powered equipent. sound logical?
