The Orange Hamfest hosted by the Orange Amateur and Jefferson County
Amateur Radio Club's is this Saturday, February 23, 2013. The event will
take place at the VFW Hall located at 5303  16th St. in Orange, Texas. The
VFW Hall is approximatley 1 mile north of I-10. Time of the event is 8:00
a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

VE testing for license upgrades begins at 10:00 a.m. Food will be available
and lots of nice door prizes. The grand prizes are a Kenwood TS-480SAT HF
Radio, Kenwood TM-281A 2 Meter Mobile Radio and a Kenwood TH-K20A 2 Meter
HT Portable Radio!

Admisision is $5.00 per person.

It's a lot of fun and a great opportunity to see old friends and meet new
