[TARA] Graduation Ceremony Help

Ladies and Gentlemen:

We have been asked once again to assist the NM Tech Police with the
graduation ceremony on Saturday, 11 May. We have done this for the past
two years, and NMT has been very appreciative of our help. Briefly, we
have amateur radio operators at each of the parking lots, both on campus
and off campus. We then relay information to the NMT Incident Commander
about the status (full or not) of each of these lots, so that the police
can direct incoming traffic only to those lots that still have available
space. In addition, we relay requests from visitors for one of the ATV
shuttles to/from the campus that the police provide.

Our support for this event typically begins with a briefing at 0730, and
concludes before noon.

Please consider participating in this public-service event that assists
our local university in providing a smooth, safe experience for students
and their families.
