Yeah, causes a stirring in your loins, does it?

Uli, KK8I, delivered a version 1 SpiderBeam (20-15-10M) to Stan and me
at Findlay. Then Uli emailed the maker of the beam for the version 1
instruction book. DF4SA replied with the book and talked Uli into
upgrading it to a 5 band version 2 SpiderBeam. That is being
delivered here. Most likely Ian and I will get it put together and
working as soon as it arrives. The beam weighs 12 pounds.

Are there any thoughts on how many mast kits we would want to take?

Like Greg I'm not a fan of the "specialty" antennas versus a good old
half wave dipole.

The BC special is good for 160 and 80.
For a second antenna on 80, a dipole would be good if we were to use
three of the mast kits.
For 40 a pair of half squared and maybe a dipole?
For 20 - 10M the SpiderBeam and the TA-33jr

That's a lot of weight ..... if we don't have two beams on 20/15/10
I'd think we would need dipoles on those bands and one beam. And
something to hold them up - stronger than a DK9SQ mast.
