Ted: I've sent you both the PDF scans of the QST article from 1988 and
the B&W antenna via UPS for you to play with.
The QST article mentions a ground-mounted beverage using only coax
cable. Terminating the end in the characteristic impedence of the line
seems to be the way to go. I'll mention again...my 300' beverage at 60
degrees is my listen antenna for all areas 90% of the time on both 80
and 160.

my heart goes a-flutter at the thought of the BC special on 160. Paul
also once again mentioned the tables from the dining room that they used
for operating from.
