Hi Guys,
	I managed to spend some time with Kurt, W8IQ toady and sample his 
excellent French while he checked on our stay at Maxotel.  I am happy to 
report as of today they are expecting our arrival on November 21.  We have 
three suites reserved at this time.  On Thursday they will FAX me material 
stating the price and asking for the names of the members of our 
party.  Each suite can sleep four and includes breakfast.  There is no 
dining facility in the hotel but there is a snack bar.  Kurt and I figure 
that as a "suite" there is most likely a small kitchen facility (coffee. 
sink, etc.)...no problem Hank, the beer can be kept cold outside....very cold!
	I made my flight reservation with Air St. Pierre from Halifax to St. 
Pierre and it was easy, all in English!  I tried to make the reservation 
from St. Pierre to Miquelon but was informed I had to call St. Pierre 
directly for that...which Kurt did thinking he'd get to practice his 
excellent French...but no need they spoke English there too!  I was 
informed their computer would not let them make reservations so far in 
advance and I would have to call back in October!  Oh well, anyway, the 
flight from Halifax to St. Pierre is booked and I recommend everyone book 
theirs asap also.  I asked about availability of seats on that flight (PJ 
1122, leave Halifax at 1200 November 21) and I was informed there are seats 
available BUT traveler beware, make your reservations. I am returning from 
St. Pierre to Halifax on Wednesday November 30 on flight PJ 1121.
	I also made my reservations to fly to and from Halifax with NWA.  I fly 
out Sunday November 20 at 5:10 PM and arrive Halifax at 9:00 PM from flight 
NWA 2852.  I'll return to Detroit via Newark on November 30 at 8:24 
PM.  Guess we need to get a place in Halifax for the night on November 20 
where we can all crash for the night.  Do you want me to arrange that?
