Not necessarily.  However, the anchor tie points should be somehow reenforced,
so they don't tear out during your stay.  We used small, cheap tarps, and some
of the ferrules were starting to tear out towards the end of the 
week.  I think a
couple more days would have done them in completely, and that was just with
dipoles, etc.

We never had a power failure, but as the farmer said when his horse fell
over dead..."gee, that never happened before!".
Does anyone know if the motel has a backup generator?
