[Swan] Re: My old 350

Hi Folks,
I've been lurking on this list for a while, with the hopes of getting my 350 back on the air. It was my original rig as a novice through extra for many years...

It's been dead for a long while now and I am going to buy one of the PS kits from ebay as mentioned here.
My other question is "what tube tester do you guys use that covers all the swan tubes?"
I am wanting to get a cheap tester off of ebay or from a swap meet that will test all the tubes... and as a bonus, I'd love to be able to test the tubes in my Atwater Kent 84 AM radio too! (another thing I need to fix!)

Thanks for any suggestions,
Doug AA1UI

Does anyone know if the swan tube compendium is still available? I tried
e-mailing Robert but the e-mail bounces back.

You are welcome to copy mine if you wish. I don't want to sell it at this

Thank you. If I don't hear from Robert I will take you up on your offer.
I think Robert wanted a donation to a particular charity and I have no
problem with that, and actually think it is a great idea.

Please note that copies (or originals) of the Compendium cannot be sold
- Version 4.0 of the Compendium in PDF format on CDROM were only
distributed for a $25 tax deductible donation to charity - no one paid
for the Compendium itself.

Thank you Bob for pointing out my error. I apologize for not doing a bit of
research before hitting the SEND key.

I have the compendium Rev 1.1 Aug. 2001. I wanted to know what the latest one says about the power supply upgrade kits that are available through ebay. I'm in the middle of installing one.
