[Swan] Swan VFO's - What is what?

Wake up Swan List...a message!!!!!


Having recently gotten re-interested in Swan, I am curious about the
different remote VFO's. I had a Swan 350 in high school and than a Swan
270 which I ran mobile in the late 1960's and early 1970's.

I currently have a Swan 420 VFO and the Model 22 switch. The dial is
different than the 508 which appears to have the Model 22 switch built
in. My dad the miniature Swan VFO in his mobile in the 1960's with a
Swan 350. I can not remember the number of this model

How many models of remote VFO were made and which models were
specifically made for what radios. Looks like I should have a 508 VFO
for my 350 or 500C.
